Automate your business workflow

We don’t always have time to manually reply, set reminders, and send a customer follow-up. That’s why Workflows come to good use. Plan ahead for the future for a more controlled now.  With the below features, you can enable a smoother workflow while also saving time and reducing stress.

Triggers and Automations are two features that help you automate your business workflow. You can access them both through the add-on Workflow.

Triggers

Triggers is a smart way to perform automated actions in Upsales. For example, a trigger could involve sending a notification email to the team leader when a deal is won. Triggers can be set up to run on creation, editing, or removal of the following entities;

  • Company
  • Contact
  • Sales
  • Appointment
  • Campaign
  • Agreement
  • Company relation

Customers who use Triggers can reduce admin time for the sales reps and ensure proper handovers to project management or finance. You can also use it to:

  • Update company
  • Send notification email
  • Send webhook
  • Create an activity
  • Update appointment

Automations

Automations can update and create things based on a set of rules, such as automated leads, which someone from the company otherwise could do manually.

For example, let's say you want all companies that belong within an industry and have certain employees placed in the same sales campaign. Simply tell the automation to look whenever a company is updated, and check if the industry and the number of employees fields have the correct value.

If so, add them to the sales campaign. Instead of relying on a user to do this, the automation automatically takes care of it. Read more about Automations in Upsales here.
