Good to know
Permissions carry over. A salesperson sees their own deals. A manager sees the team's performance. The connection mirrors the permission levels you have configured in Upsales.
Read-only. In the first version, your AI assistant can read and analyze but makes no changes to the system. The ability to also write data is planned for a future release.
Easy for the whole team. As an administrator, you activate the connection for the entire organization at once. No one on the team needs to configure anything themselves.
Get started in five minutes
The connection works with most MCP-connected AI tools on the market today, including Claude, Copilot, Cursor, and Windsurf. You need the Upsales Accelerate subscription to be able to make the connection.
Step 1: Open your AI tool and go to "Settings" → "Connectors"
Step 2: Click "Add custom connector", name the connection Upsales, and enter the server address https://mcp.upsales.com/mcp
Step 3: Sign in with your Upsales account when prompted
Step 4: Done! You can now start asking questions about your CRM data directly in your AI tool
As an administrator of your AI tool, you can activate the connection for your entire company. No one on the team needs to do anything themselves.
